Shelley S. James, a Certified Public Accountant, graduated with a B.S. degree in Accounting from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Upon graduation in the early 80’s, she worked as an auditor for a national “Big 8” accounting firm, Arthur Young. Her work in those early years, along with experience in retail, banking, and residential construction, has been key in her becoming an outstanding well-rounded CPA with a deep understanding of business and accounting. Joining James Financial Services, Inc. with her husband Harry in 1990, she discovered a love for personal and business tax with a focus on helping small to mid-size businesses grow. Considering herself a puzzle-loving CPA with a heart for serving others, she raised four children classically and is now enjoying her role as grandma.
